New Principal Orientation 2026

Congratulations! You are being cordially invited to the New Principal Orientation (NPO) this fall in Seattle!

This multi-day, requisite event will be in person and we highly encourage you to take advantage of the face-time you will have with other new principals, as well as experienced EPs and other Milliman departmental leadership.

Travel
We recommend that you make your airline reservations when your schedule allows. Please reference the Travel and Expenses pages on this website for instructions on expensing and flight cost estimates. You do not need to book your hotel reservation yourself - we will take care of that for you based on the dates you request in your registration.   Should you wish to extend your stay at a personal or business expense, the additional cost will be $359 per night (excluding taxes), subject to hotel availability.

When do I arrive/depart and what hotel nights are covered by the forum?
Unless you are coming from outside the U.S., you should arrive on Monday, September 14th and depart Thursday, September 17th after the orientation ends by 12:00PM. If you are unable to find a suitable flight leaving Thursday, please email Ashley Romjue to approve a Friday departure prior to booking.

For international travel, you can add an additional day on each end of the program.
